KiasuPriceBot
Last updated: 18 Oct 2026
KiasuPriceBot is the crawler operated by KiasuPrice. It collects publicly listed prices and stock status of consumer electronics from Singapore retailers so that shoppers can compare offers and see price history on kiasuprice.com. Every product links back to the retailer's own page.
How to recognise it
- User-Agent:
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; KiasuPriceBot/0.2; +https://kiasuprice.com/bot) - Signed requests (Web Bot Auth): every request carries
Signature-Agent: "https://kiasuprice.com"plusSignature-Input/Signatureheaders (HTTP Message Signatures, RFC 9421, Ed25519, tagweb-bot-auth). - Public key directory: https://kiasuprice.com/.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory
- Network: requests come from Cloudflare Workers, so IP addresses are not fixed. Please verify us by signature, not by IP.
What it does
- Reads and obeys
robots.txt, including rules forUser-agent: KiasuPriceBotandCrawl-delay. - Fetches only public sitemaps, category listings, product pages and public product feeds.
- Never fetches cart, checkout, account or search pages, never submits forms, and does not execute scripts.
- Normally visits each product about once a day; during major sale events (11.11, Black Friday, 12.12) up to every 6 hours.
- At most three requests in parallel per site, each followed by a pause.
- Does not try to get around blocks, challenges or rate limits. If a site blocks it, it stops.
- The data is used for price comparison and price history. It is not used to train AI models.

Retailers: work with us
If you'd rather send us a product/price feed, or allow KiasuPriceBot through your bot protection by its signature, email bot@kiasuprice.com. A feed keeps your prices accurate on KiasuPrice and means no crawling at all.
